WIA Works in 25! |

Serving Our Community
Through Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding and guidance from Chief Local Elected Officials (CLEOs) and the Southern Illinois Workforce Investment Board (SIWIB), Man-Tra-Con has helped LWA 25 customers achieve educational goals and develop more financially secure career paths. We have helped job seekers find employment and/or return to the workforce after lay-offs. We have helped youth receive year-round assistance, including part-time summer employment. In addition, we have helped local businesses connect with and/or train qualified employees through our Business Services and On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs. The following charts show a breakdown of Man-Tra-Con and Illinois workNet Center services provided to our community.
