If you are 16 to 17 years of age, you may be eligible to earn a paycheck while learning job skills. The 2010 Summer Works experience provides young adults an opportunity to work part-time within government offices, non-profit organizations and area businesses during the summer. The length of each work experience can be six to eight weeks during the program period beginning May 1, 2010, and ending September 30, 2010. Work schedules and worksites will vary based on availability.
- Participants will earn $8.25 per hour.
- Mileage reimbursement and other assistance may also be available.

The Summer Works experience provides PAID part-time employment opportunities during the summer for young adults 16 to 17 years of age. As a designated worksite, your organization can provide Summer Works participants with an introduction to the world of work, exposure to career opportunities, and an understanding of how education is connected to economic success. Man-Tra-Con is the employer of record and will pay participant wages with funding administered through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Salaries will range from $8.25 per hour. The length of each work experience can be six to eight weeks during the program period beginning May 1, 2010, and ending September 30, 2010.
