Participate in the
Summer Works Experience...
Private and public employers can
receive PAID employee assistance while shaping tomorrow’s workforce.
The Summer Works experience provides PAID part-time employment opportunities during the summer for young adults 16 to 24 years of age. As a designated worksite, your organization can provide Summer Works participants with an introduction to the world of work, exposure to career opportunities, and an understanding of how education is connected to economic success. Man-Tra-Con is the employer of record and will pay participant wages with funding administered through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Salaries will range from $8.00 to $9.00 per hour. The length of each work experience can be six to eight weeks during the program period beginning May 1, 2009, and ending March 31, 2010.
