Employment Opportunities for Young Adults at Du Quoin State Fairgrounds
Short-term employment opportunities at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds are available to eligible young adults through funding administered by Man-Tra-Con Corporation. Work will begin ASAP in August, and extend possibly through September 20, 2010.
Candidates are needed for the following positions: parking attendants, security, grounds and building maintenance. Day and evening shifts may be available. Wages will be paid at a rate of $8.25 per hour.
Interested young adults must meet the following
requirements to apply:
- 18 to 24 years of age, and be a
- parent of a minor child, or
- non-custodial parent of a minor child, or
- living with a parent or caretaker guardian.
- Illinois resident authorized
to work in the U.S., and
- income of past 6 months must NOT exceed amount per
family size listed below:
