Representatives from local coal companies and educational institutions will be available to provide information and answer any questions you may have. So, come on down, kick back, and learn about...

• Training and Certification — Learn what is required; where you need to go to get training, experience, and certification; plus how long it will take. Find out if you are eligible for On-the-Job Training after completing the initial training and certification requirements.
• The Coal Mining Experience — Decide if this work is right for you. Learn what it’s like to work underground, and what type of person is best suited for coal mining work.
• The Application Process — Learn about the application process, plus take home a sample application to see what information is needed when applying for an actual job.
• Job Seeker Assistance — Learn where to go for help with the training, certification and application process. Don’t worry — we can get you through it!
