Assessment/Referral Coordinator Reba Utley reports on her customer, “In November 2017, Hannah visited Man-Tra-Con seeking help with finding a good paying job. She was eligible for training assistance and was able to receive funding to enroll in the Psychology program at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Hannah also received assistance to help pay for books and supplies, including mileage reimbursement. Hannah successfully completed her program in December 2018, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.”

“After graduation, Hannah applied for several employment opportunities, but came up empty. I encouraged her to keep on applying and to treat her job search as a full-time job. During her job search journey, I encouraged Hannah to apply at Lutheran Social Services in Marion. Hannah applied, interviewed, and was hired for a “Case Worker” position,” Reba explains.

“Hannah began full-time employment with Lutheran Social Services on March 18, 2019. As a “Case Worker,” she is currently earning $15.14 per hour with benefits. Hannah is very appreciative of all of the support and assistance that she received from Man-Tra-Con Corporation. She will forever be grateful,” Reba adds.
